How to incorporate Behringer 2496 as EQ? (BD-Design)

Well I'd rather not use it in between my pre and power because the analog components in the DEQ2496 are pretty unimpressive and the resulting sonic presentation is equally unimpressive.

I'd rather use the Behringer for my bass only. As opposed to the full range implementation, on the bass frequencies I did not notice a decreased sound quality.

Can I use the DEQ2496 (yes the one with RTA though I would use more advanced techniques to get my curve) on the bass unit only?
