Volume matching...how do you do it?? (BD-Design)

Hi Robert,

what do you think is is the best phase correct filter
the 1 / 0,15 / 0,1 / 0,01
or the 1 / 0,15 / 0,15 / 0,01

In my system I like the first one better.

i am not shure what i like more the 2 options are both good
wich measures better?

These value changes are hardly measurable and mostly detectable while lstening. If you like both then perhaps you could go in between and use a 0,12 for the third capacitor.

is this filter more like an behringer ultracurve sort of ?

It is something highly more sophisticated than that! The device includes a digital filter and you can EQ the amplitude and phase with a resolution of 0,1Hz to 0.1dB flat if you like! Not very usefull to work in such a high resolution though but it gives the option to reduce or kill the nasty high Q resonance peaks very precise...

You can also EQ for deeper bass with it. The system is pretty flexible but you do need to understand what you're doing though. EQ flat down to 10Hz (as an example) or EQ a room dip with +18dB will surely limit the power of the BD30 and the BD15 making it possible to damage it or even reduce the overall performance of the system.

Ciao,

Bert
