Hi fu_man,

Looking at the Quasars from the front the bass drivers dominate, and the
width of the baffle between the driver and the side of the baffle seems
too narrow by proportion. I wouldn't want to widen the baffle because it
would alter the sound, plus make the whole speaker less domestically
acceptable. (Bigger)

A thin cover (veneered in the same wood) in front of the drivers will make the 15" drivers look like 12" drivers and at the same time you could cover the ugly black frame of the Fostex...

Real DIY-ers are supposed to be able to think of such simple solutions... :wink:

I don't mean to be repetitive- but would love to know if anyone else
agrees, or not?

You're not the only one, I have had more of these requests. If money was not an issue then I would have had BD15's with white cones and white painted frames made... still with the yellow sticker though!

First I need to earn back some money for the investments made in the new series of horns and other new projects already running. People should buy more from me to speed things up...
