BEC1 with Oris 250 (Off Topic)

Hi Adrian,

Has anyone heard this bass yet? How will it sound with such a high cutoff
frequency(220hz)? Are basshorns like that good to be used with an Oris 250
in general? What about "Eckhörner"?

I didn't hear that basshorn but I did listen to a similar construction which also measured pretty nice. What those measurements do not show is colouration. In general you can use it in combination with the Orphean but you should use a very steep filter on the bass to reduce the "honk" and built it as stiff as possible.

This horn will do a better job than the Klipsch corner horn which is too long for proper time alignment, in that case the Oris 150 would be a better choice.
