External HDD for jukebox (Off Topic)
Oh, yeah, interesting stuff.
I am now sooo excited about this wifi setup It does introduces long wait time for song buffering but it is so easy to use now!
So far, this WIFI connection is better than when I connect via USB to the external 3.5" HDD which is AC powered. And no noise, of course.
I will at some point have a chance to compare this wifi connection to the USB connected 2.5" drive (without the AC I hope - the question still remains to be answered by someone with experience
First, I need to purchase this HDD + the an external case. Samsung 120gb + Sarotech Cutie FX case I will probalby go for.
You are right, of course, about the system influence. Still, interesting to hear about other people's experience. Today, you inspired me to try something different and to see for myself!
Thank you,
Dmitry.
