Ist that a new material for the cone, or is it just colored?

It is new material...not painted!

Anyway I´m very satisfied with my BD 15s - now that they had some time to
break in. Response in my room is very flat down to 27 H, than falling of
with 12dB/oct.

Yep, nothing wrong with them...!
