hello again
have now started to get closer to a more "final" crossover solution:
ordered 2 custom XM46 130hz 24db/octave passive line level low pass filters from Marchand Electronics
made 9db L-PAD with Audio Note 2 watt tantalum resistors to match to 300B output
filter is on input of Rod Elliot P-84 eq-board and then to dual BD-30 amps
this really cleaned up everything:
much more transparent total sound
tighter bass
really pleased and the supertowers driven by the dual BD-30s really shine at any lvl/material
excellent build quality and superb service/support from Phil Marchand
just as from Bert
a pleasure to deal with
highly recommended!
