Speaker Wire (Silver vs. Copper) (BD-Design)

I don't count, I just twist them...the reason for me is to have the ground
twisted around the positive lead thinking that its reducing picking up
signals and distortion from the air.

My thoughts exactly. :Y:

move the table in front of you that reflects the sound in between you and the system, close or open the curtains if you have them, get a good mains filter (sound wise, not review wise...), etc...

check, check & check.
