Hi Russell,

Would the limited power handling of the 103 be a problem? What sort of
amplification would you suggest?

Normal listening levels and proper protection (filtering the lower frequencies) won't show any power handling problems. As single amplified system you can use an amplifier like the BD30 very well which is very capable to drive the Vifa, the FE103E's can be driven by anything.
