Changing the Singular Baffle (BD-Design)

Hi

I have finished the Singular cabinet and I am very pleased with how easy
and fun it was to construct. However I have one question that is purely
for cosmetic reasons and may affect the acoustics
Will changing the edges of the front baffle change the speakers musical
performance? I was thinking of either using a router and cut the edges 45
degrees or simply rounding them off, to make the speaker look smaller.

I can imagine that it wouldn’t change the phase that much because I’m
going to use a Fostex fe207e which is fairly directional, hence not a lot
reflexes will change by changing the baffle. I could be wrong:-D and it
would be nice to know if I’m severely handicapping the Singular
construction.

Thanks for your time

Daniel
