Round horn in baffle, Bert? (BD-Design)

Hi Kim,

I want to place a round tractrix horn in a very small baffle due to design
(WAF). What about the horn mouth seeing this baffle at the lower frequencies?

The panel does extend the lower frequencies of a shortened horn when it is mounted in a panel that is bigger than the original mouth size. It will give more ripples in the lower response compared to a finite horn but still very useful to save space or limit the size and depth of the horn.

If the horn is already finite (full size) then the panel won't do much in the lower frequencies.

Which lowest frequency do you have in mind for your horn?

Ciao,

Bert
