Singular bass response w FE206? (BD-Design)

I am debating whether to build the Singular using the FE206, or the Fostex-recommended back-loaded horn. Does anyone know how they would compare? The Singular is simpler to build, obviously. Perhaps the more complicated design produces bass better, or has other virtues?
