Attaching mounting rings to old Oris 150 (BD-Design)

I have a very early set of the Oris 150 horns with the little brass studs extending from the mounting ring to fit small holes in the horns. One of my horns is no longer held in place by the brass studs. Should I attach the mounting rings to the horns with an adhesive, and if so what sort?
