Singular cabinet - sides too small (BD-Design)

Hello Bert,

The nice people who cut my wood at the home improvement store cut the sides about 2.4mm too short; luckily, the width is spot on as are the other pieces they cut.

My concern is that the inside dimensions will no longer be correct -- specifically, the front and rear vertical sections will be a few mm shorter than spec.

Will this be ok provided I maintain the 230mm x 230mm dimension for the entire length of the passage from the driver to the rear vent, or is the length crucial as well?

Also, do I need to adjust the length of the port?

I have considered adding length by using iron on veneer on each end to make up a few mm, but I'm not so sure about the structural integrity of such a "fix".

Finally, I noticed that the original version had a 60mm long circular port, whereas the new version only has a hole (a 19.05mm port, if you will). Is this correct?

Thanks! I'm looking forward to getting everything glued and wired up! These are going to be some big speakers! :)

Cheers,
Joe
