Hi Francis,

1. do we need to stuff anything in the back chamber?

You could try to add some damping material to try to see if that sounds better in your situation and leave the wooden cover out of the back chamber to reduce the stronger low-mids with the Fostex FE206E.

2. there's a wood cover at the back of the back chamber; does it align to
the edge at the back, or it goes straight in until it hits the stuffing
material?

Aligned with the back end.

3. there's a hole at the wood cover; I presume that's supposed to be
closed and open just to make it easier to take the cover out, right?

It does help to take it out more easy but the purpose is to release pressure from the chamber.

4. can we paint the wood cover too?

If you like then yes but not the edge (it won't fit in the chamber when that is painted) .

Ciao,

Bert

thks
Francis
