Hi John,

In am wery close to order a par but have a coupple of questions. My living
room i rectangula and not to big, Since the Quasars are dipoles how much
distance is required between them and the back wall?

The "principle" is the same as with all speakers when they are placed in a listening room. Closer to the corners will give a boost in the mid-bass with a frequency range depending on the distances (walls and floor).

This usually gives less problems below 200Hz. Given the information you provided means that you can place them relative close to the walls (preferable closer to the side than the back wall though).

You'll have to move them around a bit and when done then create a filter to tune them to your other speakers.

Ciao,

Bert
