GAF-alert (Off Topic)

Hi,

My new girl friend is coming over to my house for the very first time. Ever.

So I guess I will be introducing her to the horn system, too. Ahum...

I'm crazy about her, she's crazy about me. Now let's see how crazy she is about the big rigg.

Good luck Ivo!

I suggest finding out what her favorite music is and playing that most of the evening. Trying to impress her with your music won't work. If her music sounds good on it, she will love it.

Regards,

Steve

Hi Ivo,

If she is in love with you then she will be "blind" for your speakers...

No worries!

hi Bert,

If she is in love with you then she will be "blind" for your speakers...

"Show me those big ugly speakers you've told me about. Eh..."

She gave a big sigh and focused on me and the food. I guess it went well, she didn't scream it was her or the speakers... ;-)

Sounds like it went well but... no demo?

Hi Ivo
Sounds like you're safe for a while.
The real earache only starts after she moves in and starts nest building. She will then 'discover' a conflict between the speakers and her ideas of interior design.
It's at this point the fun begins ;-)

Fixed it herself

I thought it would be best to give little attention to the speakers. The more you talk about it and the more you listen, the more she looks...

Anyway, she fixed it herself a few days later. I was away for half an hour (get some breakfast) and she went through my CDs. She found herself a cello concerto and put it on. When I came back, she was stuttering with excitement. "They don't overload on the fortissimo! They are so clear! You hear the individual stringplayers!"

I am a firm believer in the theory that things fix themselves. I'm glad the theory worked...

She seems to be open for good sound... I wish more women would be like that. :ok:
