TwinDac and Mac (BD-Design)

This combo is quite intriging as I have been looking at alternatives like the Kaleidascape which at $27,000 bucks is not eally in the que. Another is the Player/archiving box from Audio One.... $3K and stores 350 hours of uncompressed music. BUT... being a long time Mac addict this sounds like a plan. What soecifically is the "Mac problem" with outputting high quality digital sttream? Will it do this through the USB port? I have a dual 450 G4.

Hi Bob,
The TwinDAC will work well with the MAC or any other computer with a high output USB port (2.0 and short USB cable). For optimal digital audiostream it is important to have the least software drivers working in the process thus giving the least jitter and most correct data to the DAC.
