Coating the BD15 (BD-Design)

I wanted to take a quick poll on the results of coating the BD15. For those of you who purchased the early BD15's and then coated them with glue; what do you have to say about the sonic performance before and after the glue...?

Coating the BD15

I coated mine following Berts instructions.
There was an increase in clarity and impact. The effect was subtle but noticeable - I wouldn't go back.

Hi Chris,

noticeable - I wouldn't go back.

Thanks, but for clarification you did forget to mention that you use the BD15 only up to 60Hz, the coating has a less subtle effect in the mid-bass...

Thanks for clarifying that Bert, you are absolutely correct. I imagine the improvements to be more substantial as you push the crossover higher.
Cheers Chris
