BEC1 with Oris 250 (Off Topic)

Hi,
I'm looking for suitable basses for the Oris 250 with the BMS. I have found a plan of an ineresting Basshorn. http://www.egbeck.de/15bhorn0.htm
It has a very good eficiency of 110 db/m
Has anyone heard this bass yet? How will it sound with such a high cutoff frequency(220hz)? Are basshorns like that good to be used with an Oris 250 in general? What about "Eckhörner"?

I didn't hear that basshorn but I did listen to a similar construction which also measured pretty nice. What those measurements do not show is colouration. In general you can use it in combination with the Orphean but you should use a very steep filter on the bass to reduce the "honk" and built it as stiff as possible.
This horn will do a better job than the Klipsch corner horn which is too long for proper time alignment, in that case the Oris 150 would be a better choice.

I own a pair of Thel Saw30 (three way) aktiv crossovers with 24db/oct. Would it be possible to make a full aktive speaker with the BMS and the basshorn by using a digital EQ. I use my PC as digital source so it would be easy to make frequency correktions.

The Orphean comes with a full passive filter with passive EQ (crossing @ 220Hz/24dB).
You can use your own active filter and play with that to tune the bass towards the Orphean though. The bass should be crossed at 220Hz/24dB/LR.
The Orphean will only sold in combination with modified drivers and its tuned passive filter for optimal results.
You're free to buy just the horns, a standard unmodified driver and play with your own filter solutions though but then I can't guarantee that you'll hear the same I am hearing.
