Altec 414's & Petite Onken (Off Topic)

I've managed to aquire a few vintage Altec drivers (755C's, 414A's) and was thinking about building Petite Onken cabs and running them with a pair of 200/MD-1 horns.
Does anyone have any experience with this combo, or with 414 Petite Onken cabs?
Any insight is GREATLY appreciated.

Hi Mike,
Never heard the Petite Onken but I am sure it will be a dynamic and alive bass solution. The bass won't go to deep though but better less then too much of "noise" you do not want to hear...

Thanks for the insight Bert. I have a pair of Compact Ref cabs that work VERY well; but like any good DIY'er, I want to explore additional options :wink:
