Dear Bert.
I have recently bought a pair of Oris Reference Ultra consisting of Oris 200 (md3) and the bd15 with Oris 150 horn in front.

Is this the latest crossover schematic?

And is it possible to tweak some?
My amps are Audio Note Conquests and Audio Note m3 pre.

The sound got better with rca red base 5687 valve in front of the amps. They are a bit more mellow than the JAN vt-231 I had.

BTW: I have only had them for a very short period of time and I have not been able to work on speaker placement yet.
But I will - o yes - you bet.

Best Regards

Dear Bambadoo,

I have recently bought a pair of Oris Reference Ultra consisting of Oris
200 (md3) and the bd15 with Oris 150 horn in front.

Nice! Is it a complete set? Please answer some questions first so that I have the picture complete...

- Do you have a serial number of the MD3's
- Which phase plugs do you use with the MD3's
- Does the Oris 200 have all the damping material and back covers?
- Is the enclosure for the Ultra build according to the drawings using the appropiate damping material?
- What amplifier do you use for the bass and what is its input impedance?
- What are the dimensions of your room and approximately listening distance
- What front end are you using?

Is this the latest crossover schematic?

In principle yes, it is the latest.

And is it possible to tweak some?

Yes, but might be completely different depending on the used amplifier for the bass.

Bert

Ok, I will send an email with more information Bert.
I bought them from a fellow Norwegian. His setup is on Your showroom page

And it looks something like this at my house. After about 20 seconds of tuning :pleasantry:

In fact the drivers says BD3 and not MD3.

Okay, I will wait for your email...

You can do some room tuning too, seems a bit "naked"?

In fact the drivers says BD3 and not MD3.

Okay, the BD3's are the same as the later MD3's. Using the new (hand made) transparent plugs (not on-line yet) will improve the balance in the highest frequencies.

Here is a picture, they cost 89 Euro the pair.
