Mounting for Oris 150 horn (Oris Horns)

I currently have a pair of Oris 150 horns and wish to place them at ear level. How have other horn users accomplished this? Did they make a stand, purchase one? Thanks for the help.

I build a stand for my horns, using Bosch-Rexroth profiles and mounts.
That is a very flexible system for placement. You can look at the show room - Stephan Götze, to get an idea.

Most easy thing to do is to create a simple stand (with cradle shaped top) for the horn to be placed on top of that and in case of the Oris 150 secure it from within the rear chamber to the stand using a screw/bolt.

Here is a simple drawing which can be altered to anything else you might prefer.

I strapped mine onto my subwoofer towers with webbing straps, and put a bit of foam where they touched the tower`s wood. See the pix in the gallery under Thomas Turk
