I do not see any point to exchange the AER MD2's for a Lowther DX4 or something else for that matter. What is for you the reason to start thinking about a change?

The MD 2 is rubber surrounding is losing apart. But still sounds great. So what would the driver to provide improvement? I am using Yamamoto amp with 120 cross over....

Hi,

I have to change the foam ring on my DX3's after 12 years. It costs me 140 Euros for both drivers at the local specialist!

Is there some alternative to Lowther for use in Oris 150: like some BMS coax drivers or something simillar - the reason is to get more response in high freq end possibilitty to use it with more power apms.

AER or another horn..

Alternative is AER for more high frequency extension...

There are no other full-range driver with good high frequency extension.

BMS will not fit unless an extension is made for the horn (working on that myself). Until then the only way is the Orphean as proven upgrade.
