Stand built for my Orphean Horns (BD-Design)

by Kevin @, Minneapolis, Saturday, April 12, 2014, 20:54 (3664 days ago)

I finally got outside this week and built a pair of Oak Stands for my Orphean Horns. Solid Red Oak with 3 coats of Danish Oil Finish. Rubber feet for the bottom of the stands and a Felt lined Cradle to hold the Horn Tubes. The Crossovers fit nicely inside the Stands.

These will work fine, until I think of something better.

nice Kevin, one ? did you put anything on the edge of the wood to isolate the horn from the wood ?? On the older metal stands that Bert offered they came with a strip of thin foam like material which isolated the horn from the bracket
