Hi Yehuda,

Regarding the bass enclosure, what is the reason that made you use an
Onken enclosure and not a bass reflex? and are there any formulas used to
design this enclosure (I use the Vifa M25WO48-08)?

Its basically the only way to get deeper bass from a low Qts driver. Another advantage is that it gives identical and lower impedance peaks (if designed correctly) and the response gradually drops down in the deeper bass (depends on the used driver).

This gradual roll-off sounds better in most listening rooms because the room "amplifies" the deeper bass. Systems designed to be flat in open air always sound boomy or way too heavy in the bass.
