BD30 Questions (BD-Design)

Bert

Since the the BD30 takes a speaker-level input...does it attenuate this to get to line level prior to amplification? I would imagine if so, the attenuation must not drop it all the way to line level as you do need a level higher than that so as to match up with higher sensitivity horns.

Also, how much gain will your new digital filter add via its active line stage?

Thanks!!

The input sensitivity of the BD30 is high enough to be used with the passive line-filters (attenuating the gain to line-level) where there is still +12dB gain left to play with.

Also, how much gain will your new digital filter add via its active line
stage?

I don't know but it should be enough to make up for the loss.

Ciao,

Bert
