Hello Bert,
I find some resonances in horns due to the low weight of them and drivers (Aer bd3).
I have them on top of a ripoles bass with a stand with soundcare spikes.
The questions are.
What would be better? Spikes of spikes with rubber?
Last question is would improve adding some mass in the rear chamber? It helps lowering frequency vibration and on the other hand lowering rear chamber volume.I was thinking in a granite stone.
Or putting dynamat inside the rear chamber?
Thanks

Hi RLBB

Rubber, let the horns move freely...

Last question is would improve adding some mass in the rear chamber? It helps lowering frequency vibration and on the other hand lowering rear chamber volume.I was thinking in a granite stone.

Adding weight to stabilize will help, but it will make the rear chamber volume smaller. If you have it open at the rear (try that is you did not yet...) then the volume will not change.

Or putting dynamat inside the rear chmber?

Perhaps better, the energy will be quicker absorbed but then try without felt, too much dampening could start to sound lifeless... :-)

Hi!

With my diy Orelino I had Solidair audio's Maglev Hifi Isolation feet under my horns, they worked pretty well to isolate the horn from vibrating bass section. Later I got a separate heavier baffle for the bass.

Hi !
In addition to what Bert recommends I would suggest looking at these:

https://livevibeaudio.com/rhythm-jr-platforms/
https://livevibeaudio.com/audio-points-coupling-discs/

Formally known as Star Sound Audio.
I use their Apprentice platforms between the Oris horns and the bass cabinets and just love what it does, it was highly audible in my system.
If I did not use their platforms, I would just use their Audio Points and caps.
