driving sub-amp from pre-amp (BD-Design)

Hi,

Now I'm driving my sub-amp from the output of the front-horn amp via the rcrc filter.
Wonder if I should instead drive my sub-amp from pre-amp instead, as the base-amp should appear to the front-horn amp as a secondary load. My base-amp has a 47Kohm input impedance. Would that cause any problem to the output transformer of the front-horn amp?

Tonight, my EL34 gave me some clipping sound to the driver. I now swapped that tube amp with a Marantz transistor amp.

Thks
Francis

The driver connected is 8 ohms, with the 47k in parallel this changes to 7.9986... ohms. The amp will not notice the other amp at all.

Ciao,

Bert
