Round horn in baffle, Bert? (BD-Design)

Hi Bert,

The panel does extend the lower frequencies of a shortened horn when it is
mounted in a panel that is bigger than the original mouth size. It will
give more ripples in the lower response compared to a finite horn but
still very useful to save space or limit the size and depth of the horn.

If the horn is already finite (full size) then the panel won't do much in
the lower frequencies.

Which lowest frequency do you have in mind for your horn?

The Horn is a 400 Hz tractrix from Soundlab. I'll probably cut at 500 Hz.
Any ripple problems?
