BD15 mounting (BD-Design)

the BD15, I don't think we have fasteners quite like these over here. I
assume they are designed for MDF? Is there a specified pilot hole size?


Alan key heads are common in the US too as far as I know... there should
be a tool for them available.

Of course we have allen heads. I was referring to the thread configuration.

The bolts are designed for particle board

but in MDF these will do well too. You should then pre-drill with 4mm

Here, everything from pressed board to particle board to grade 1 mdf are sold under the same MDF sign and we end up calling most every manufactured board mdf. I would more correctly call the material used in these cabs particle board as it is noticeably aggregate in nature. Does this looser material also require a 4mm pilot?


There is a problem with the tyrofoam panels. The drawing shows 8 panels and the legend says that 8 panels are required. 7 panels were supplied for each side. There are 7 arrows on the drawing but 8 panels are drawn and 8 make sense as far as balance goes. What can we do about this?
